Nurse Practitioner to provide acute and chronic care to patients in the clinic setting as defined in the Collaborative Practice Agreement and the Missouri Nursing Practice Act. Services include but are not limited to ordering, conducting, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies and other duties as assigned and delegated through the existing Collaborative Agreement.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited Master’s Nursing Program (for graduates after 1993 only).
- Current State of Missouri RN License; BLS required; preferred PALS. If required certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
- Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a designated Nurse Practitioner, i.e. Family N.P.
- Family practice background preferred.
