Community Hospital-Fairfax has the following open positions:

Pharmacy Technical Certified: Perform all nonprofessional aspects in the department, accountable for clerical duties that do no require professional judgment. Oversees purchasing and inventory control functions. Performs charge capture and reconciliation. Assist the Pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy duties related to patient profile, dispensing, labeling and record keeping.

Admitting Representative (Mound City): Registers all patients seeking medical services at Community Hospital-Fairfax and operates as the communication center for Community Hospital Fairfax to ensure the needs of patients, staff and physicians are met.

Registered Nurse, Nights: Provides and performs oversight, delegation, and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of patients.

Registered Nurse, ER Nights: Provides total nursing care to patients, guided by Advanced Practice Nurse and Physician orders, standards of care, policies and procedures; provides a legible, pertinent, and accurate record of the patient’s course of treatment based on the patient’s plan of care ad disease process.

Mammography Technologist: The mammography tech. is responsible for detecting breast tissue abnormalities by completing mammographic imaging studies, presenting them for diagnosis.

Clinic Medical Assistant (Fairfax & Tarkio): Works in the Family Medicine Clinic to provide care to patients. Will perform rooming patient, taking vitals, history, medications and updating them into the patient’s chart in the Electronic Medical Record. Will Make sure the chart is updated and then let the provider know that the patent has arrived and is ready to be seen. Will assist with any other office duties as asked by the provider or head nurse in the clinic. Some of these duties may include prior authorizations, medical record scanning into the Electronic Medical Record.

Radiologic Technologist: Will be responsible for coordinating outpatient appointments, making patients who come in for procedures feel comfortable. Performs x-rays for diagnostic purposes. Follow established requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.

Registered Nurse, Surgical: Proficiently provide quality patient care to the surgical patient with minimal risk to the patient.

Clinic LPN Lead (Tarkio): Works in the Family Medicine clinic providing direct patient care to support the patient and healthcare practitioner. The Clinic Lead LPN is responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, recording medical histories, reconciling home medications, administering medications as directed by the provider, and assisting with medical procedures. They are responsible for performing basic lab tests, preparing specimens, and drawing blood for testing. The Clinic Lead LPN will be responsible for any other office duties assigned by the provider or clinic director. Additional duties may include but are not limited to prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, answering and returning phone calls, refilling medication requests, restocking rooms, and ordering clinic supplies.

Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (Tarkio): Works in the Family Medicine Clinic to provide care to patients. Will perform rooming patient, taking vitals, history, medications and updating them into the patient’s chart in the Electronic Medical Record.
